Ladakh – High Passes, Lakes & Himalayan Adventure

Day 1: Arrival in Leh & Acclimatization The Welcome: Land at Kushok Bakula Rimpochee Airport in Leh. Meet our representative and transfer to your hotel. The Vibe: Spend the entire day resting. Acclimatization is crucial at this altitude (11,500 ft). Sip on ginger-lemon-honey tea and let your body adjust to the thin air. The Night: Enjoy a light dinner at the hotel. Overnight stay in Leh. Day 2: Sham Valley Sightseeing The Sights: After breakfast, drive towards the confluence of the Indus and Zanskar rivers at Sangam. Visit the Magnetic Hill, where gravity seems to work in reverse, and the Gurudwara Pathar Sahib. The Culture: Pay your respects at the Hall of Fame, a museum built in memory of brave Indian soldiers. The Night: Return to the hotel for dinner and another night's stay in Leh. Day 3: Leh to Nubra Valley via Khardung La The Ascent: Embark on a thrilling drive to Nubra Valley, crossing the mighty Khardung La—one of the highest motorable passes in the world. The Action: Arrive at Hunder and explore the cold desert sand dunes. Take a ride on the unique double-humped Bactrian camels. The Night: Check into your deluxe camp or guesthouse in Nubra Valley for dinner and an overnight stay under the stars. Day 4: Nubra to Pangong Tso via Shyok The Transition: After breakfast, visit the Diskit Monastery, home to the massive Maitreya Buddha statue. Later, drive along the Shyok River toward the famous lake. The Water: Arrive at Pangong Tso, the stunning high-altitude lake that changes colors from turquoise to deep blue.
